What Is Kosher Style? (And Other FAQs)
What is kosher-style catering?
Our kitchen is not kosher-certified, therefore we are not calling ourselves kosher, but rather kosher-style. This means that we are able to accommodate your needs when it comes to things like keeping dairy and meat separate, omitting problematic ingredients like pork, shellfish, and unpermitted animals, and checking for bugs. By request, we are able to source kosher meat. If you prefer to construct an all-dairy or vegan menu, we can do that. If you are looking for a dinner party to be held in your home, we are able to accommodate any dietary approach, including non-kosher in gredients.
What kind of catering services do you offer?
We have three main catering service offerings: Traditional Jewish gatherings such as b’nai mitzvot, oneg shabbat, holiday parties, and more; event catering for up to 50 people; and private dinner parties in your home for up to 25 people.
What is your geographic service area?
We serve The Hague, Delft, Rotterdam, and Utrecht, plus points in between. If you are outside of this area, we would be happy to discuss an additional transportation fee.
How does pricing work?
We want to work with you, so we offer flexible pricing. Traditional gatherings start from 18 EUR per person, catering from 22 EUR per person, and dinner parties from 37 EUR per person. Final pricing is based on the total number of guests, menu, delivery location, and staffing needs for the event. Are you a non-profit community organization? Ask about non-profit pricing!
